On May 7, City National acquired 1st Pacific Bank from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and assumed the operations of its six branches in San Diego County. We are committed to earning your confidence and your trust by providing you with the very best of what City National offers: Our own unique brand of award-winning service, premier relationship banking and wealth management services.
- At this time, you need not make any changes in the way you conduct your banking.
- You can continue banking at your current branch or any 1st Pacific Bank branch, where you will be served by the same people you have come to rely upon and trust, and you may continue using your current checks and ATM and debit cards.
- Your eligible accounts, including certificates of deposit, remain insured by the FDIC.
For now, 1st Pacific Bank branches will continue operating under their current name. Once the systems transition has been completed later this year, you will have the convenience of banking at any of City National’s more than 70 offices, including 17 full-service regional centers, in Southern California, the San Francisco Bay Area, Nevada and New York City.
