Talk with us:
City National's Commitment to Diversity means that we fully embrace a policy of fair treatment. We promote a culture of respect that encourages differences in the thoughts, perspectives, cultural backgrounds and experiences of every colleague in our diverse work environment.
Having a work culture that incorporates varied insights means that we can better respond to the needs of our colleagues, our clients and the communities we serve. We are always in search of individuals with talent, experience, intelligence and fresh ideas who can work with us to ensure that our diverse culture continues to thrive.
City National has created a Multicultural Strategy department to formalize our focus on diversity in the workplace and the marketplace. Karen A. Clark heads up the Multicultural Strategy department. There are five colleague caucuses that work with Karen on internal and external initiatives and programs.
In further support of our Commitment to Diversity, City National Bank takes an action-oriented approach to the attraction, retention and career development of colleagues with diverse backgrounds through several programs designed to promote Equal Employment Opportunity throughout the organization. Programs include Diversity Outreach in Recruitment; a comprehensive Training and Development program; an Executive Briefing program; annual audits of colleague compensation to ensure equity in pay; and specific training courses designed to prevent harassment and promote Equal Employment Opportunity.
City National Bank's policies are administered without regard to race, sex, color, religion, age, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, pregnancy, marital status, veteran status, medical condition, physical or mental disability, or any other legally protected status of any applicant or colleague.
