Sue O’Donnell is the executive vice president of Banking & Investment Services at City National Bank. She also serves on the company’s Executive Leadership Team and Senior Management Team.
A seasoned leader with over 25 years of experience in bank operations, Sue oversees client account servicing for deposits, payments, wealth management, international banking and fraud prevention. She also supervises the bank’s contact centers and directs digital transformation and process improvement initiatives across the company.
Sue joined City National in 2021 from JPMorgan Chase, where she was the global head of client maintenance for the bank’s wealth management client operations. In that role, she led a global team responsible for managing client and account information, and she led various programs to eliminate manual processes and simplify document creation. In addition, she supported regulatory reviews, internal audits and compliance assessments.
Sue is active in the community and serves on the board of trustees for the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Wake Forest University and a FINRA Series 99 license.
