You'll need a City National Bank checking, savings, loan, brokerage (City National Securities), or trust account to enroll in online banking. Learn more about enrolling in online banking.

You will create a User ID unique to you when you enroll in City National Online to help safeguard your accounts from fraud. You shouldn't share this ID with anyone else. You can also retrieve your User ID or reset your password anytime using our automated tools.

Yes! Personal banking clients can enroll with Zelle® and use the City National Bank App to send money to friends, family or others they know and trust.2

You can transfer funds between personal accounts using City National Online or the City National Bank App. Please review this article for detailed instructions and additional information about transfers.

You can transfer money into a City National account from another institution after adding and verifying the external bank account information. After the account has been verified, you can make a transfer by following these instructions.  

Yes, you can import your account transaction history into Quicken.

All eligible sole proprietor business accounts or other business accounts can be accessed through City National Online by the primary owner and authorized signer.

Businesses can also view and manage certain accounts through Business Suite and Business Essentials, our online treasury management platforms.
