City National Helps Whittier Students and Teachers Start the New School Year

City National Bank donated more than 400 backpacks and 15 classroom care packages to Ada S. Elementary School in Whittier on Thursday, Aug. 29, as part of the school’s Back to School night festivities. Excited students lined up to receive a free backpack filled with school supplies and had an opportunity to spin the wheel and test their money smarts for special prizes, such as school supplies and stickers. The care packages included useful classroom supplies that teachers requested on their wish lists for the new school year.
