Patrick McCarthy, senior vice president and head of Marketing and MarTech, and Erik Piecuch, senior vice president and Entertainment Banking team leader, were named as “Notable LGBTQ Leaders” by Crain’s New York Business. In sprit of Pride Month, Crain’s featured 95 business leaders in the New York area for their work in LGBTQ activism through mentoring programs, community involvement, philanthropy and more. This list also recognizes leaders who invest their considerable energies in diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and ensure inclusive hiring practices.

McCarthy has laid deep roots in New York through his work and community engagement, especially in support of the LGBTQ+ community. He’s an active supporter of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center in New York City and recently joined the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Leadership Council, which provides lifesaving support for people on Broadway and across the country affected by HIV, COVID-19 and other diseases.

Piecuch works to ensure all experiences are validated and accepted in the workplace and his community through listening, teaching, fundraising and more. As the co-chair of City National’s LGBTQ Alliance, Piecuch helped spearhead the bank’s support for non-profits making an impact on the NYC community through Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Last June, Piecuch led an effort in partnership with Playbill to raise money for the organization.
